Do you want to make money with eBay for your charity organization? Raising money for your favorite charity through
eBay auctions is fun and easy! Here's how you can make money online to support your charity organization!
Anyone can register to sell items with eBay. An individual or business not related to the charity can list goods, and direct the proceeds to the charity. The charity itself can also create listings and sell on eBay.

Sign up with PayPal. Click Here: PayPal Use the handy link at the bottom of this page to register for a personal or merchant PayPal account. It's quick and easy - here are two tips for signing up with PayPal - the first tip - have your check book handy. You'll need your routing number and checking account number. Why? That's where your money will be sent at the close of the auction! When you register, PayPal will send a small amount of money, less than $1.00, to your checking account. When you see it come through, in 3 - 5 days, go back to PayPal, sign in, and let them know the amount of money that was transferred! It'll be something like seventeen cents, or forty three cents, some small and random number. The second tip - use the same email address that you used to register with eBay. They need to be identical. That's it! Merchants - get ready to make your customers happy! People love to shop, and they're used to paying by PayPal! If you meet your customer expectations, you'll have satisfied customers! That's the secret to repeat business! (Just click on the link to Paypal above to register as a Paypal merchant.)

Select the charity that you would like to donate money to support through your listing with
eBay. If your favorite charity is not already signed up with MissionFish, have them follow the links in step 3 above and sign up. They'll need to have their bank account info handy, as the proceeds will be a direct deposit. I suggest you have the charity go to the link to sign up, and print out the form, and fill it out on paper before giving it a shot on the computer. The system won't allow you to save a halfway processed application. They'll also need their mission statement and a logo to upload.

List your item to sell with
eBay, designating your favorite charity to benefit from the proceeds. eBay gives to your charity too! Here's how that works. When you make a listing, you designate a percentage of your proceeds to be directed to charity through Giving Works, through Mission Fish. If the item sells, eBay rebates a portion or all of the listing and final value fees to the seller. If you donate 100% of your proceeds to charity, eBay will rebate 100% of the regular listing fees and 100% of the final value fees to you upon the completion of the sale. If you have special add-on fees, such as a delayed start, home page featured, etc., those fees are not rebated. And keep in mind that fees are only rebated if the item sells. (No sale? You still pay the listing fees. No rebate from eBay.)

When your item sells through
eBay, the portion of your sales that you have pre designated will automatically be routed through MissionFish (small processing fee) right to your favorite charity! After 45 days the money will be transferred from your PayPal account, which allows times for any refunds. You can also transfer the money right away if you're sure there will be no refund.

You'll get the proper tax paperwork automatically for your donation!
